Profile
I am currently completing a practice-led PhD focusing on how artists evolve and generate new ways of working in precarised contexts. Having originally studied at Wimbledon School of Art in the late 1990s, my practice remains rooted in traditional painting methods, while also becoming increasingly aligned with my research. I also curate and co-organise exhibitions and events alongside other artists, and present my paintings in both ‘art’ and ‘nonart’ settings.
